DUBLIN (WiMAX Day). Irish Broadband, the leading wireless broadband service provider in Ireland has announced the completion of a €13 million expansion of its network. The expansion has doubled the geographic reach of their network in Ireland to Swords and Coolock in Dublin, Summerville in Waterford and Raheen in Limerick. Irish Broadband plan that the expansion will continue through 2007. Irish Broadband operates regional WiMAX license in the 3.5 GHz spectrum that was awarded through a public tender in November 2003.
