SEOUL (WiMAX Day). The transport operator Seoul Metro in the city of Seoul in Korea announced that beginning next year, commuters on the underground subway will be able to access the Internet using WiBro. The service, provided by KT, will be available on train station platforms and in subway cars. Seoul Metro said that they intend to launch the service in January 2007 in part of the subway network, and have access available at all stations and in all cars by the end of 2007.
