MÁLAGA (WiMAX Day). Libera Networks announced that it will construct a pre-WiMAX network for the municipal water company Comunidad de Madrid. The network will be used in the surveillance of its water purifying stations in Spain. With technology provided by Málaga-based , the system will connect each of the municipality’s 18 water stations for the transmission of voice, data and images that aids in the control and security of the overall system. The network is expected to cost €212,000 and take three months to install. A similar system has also been deployed at the Municipal de Aguas of Malaga.
