BEIJING (WiMAX Day). China Mobile, one of the official organisers of wireless communications for the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing, announced last week that it will include WiMAX in the mix of wireless technologies to be deployed in and around Beijing for the Olympic games. China Mobile also stated that the Organising Committee for the Beijing Olympic Games (BOCOG) has formally authorised the company to provide WiMAX services.
