KIRKLAND (WiMAX Day). Clearwire Corp has launched a VoIP phone service for its subscribers in Texas. This service provides functionality similar to fixed-line services, such as a local phone number, unlimited local and long-distance calling within the United States and Canada, competitive international calling rates, call forwarding, advanced call forwarding, caller ID, voice mail, and many other services. The service works with a small adapter that is easily connected to the Clearwire service.
