KIGALI (WiMAX Day). Altech-Stream Rwanda Limited announced that it has been awarded licenses to deploy WiMAX in the 2.5 GHz and 3.5 GHz frequency bands. In a press release, CEO Craig Venter said, “The licence provides Altech-Stream Rwanda Limited with the right to cover the major cities of Rwanda and deliver a range of services at access speeds and quality levels far exceeding those experienced to date.”
