Wateen plans WiMAX for banking
LAHORE (WiMAX Day). Wateen Telecom signed an agreement last week with Bank of Punjab (BoP) to provide a data network connecting the bank’s 271 branches. Wateen will provide the network using its planned WiMAX network and existing fibre optic. When completed, the network will provide full data communication among the bank’s head office, regional offices and branches.
