Complete product line roadmaps for infrastructure products including but not necessarily limited to macro base stations, micro base station and higher layer network elements within the ASN.
Undertake competitive analysis of the base station market and maintain a competitive analysis database.
Complete MRDs including completing business case to define market segments, unit volumes, timing, unit pricing, and top 10 customer accounts.
Complete PRDs for major product features and requirements.
Meet target customers and partner OEMs to solicit input on roadmap & product requirements.
Work with Sales to determine new customer requirements to fold back into product roadmap and future product requirements.
Work with the Systems Engineering Group to understand proposed in-house technology enhancements to WiMAX and their effect on the infrastructure product line.
Work with the Engineering Group to understand proposed design trade-offs in the development of infrastructure products.
Work with the Program Management Group to ensure that individual products remain on schedule. Maintain project schedules for communications internally and externally with customers and other entities.
Write white papers on new potential market opportunities outlining the scope of the opportunity, trends within the market, technology requirements, etc.
Develop usage scenario whitepapers for infrastructure products.
Evangelize the Nextwave Broadband infrastructure product lines and roadmap to potential customers, operators and investors.
Support ATGs corporate collateral folder development used for sales, marketing, recruiting, job fairs, etc. Folder may contain corporate overview, product briefs, white papers, press releases, and general literature.
Train sales representatives on new products and define account engagement strategies with the Sales team.
Support field trials of infrastructure products with NSG and with other external operators, partners or potential customers to validate usage scenarios, performance and functionality.
Participate in the development of sales tools, training, demonstration programs and sales literature, deliver customer presentations and demonstrations.
Provide product training across the NextWave Broadband organization to ensure internal staff is up to speed relating to current product releases.
In collaboration with Marcom and Corporate Marketing, complete product data sheets, marketing collateral and product presentations for infrastructure products.
Develop and maintain the network deployment scenario cost model to investigate and define the optimum network topologies.
