Job Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the System Test activities of our WiMAX based wireless broadband voice and data system including the Base Station and Mobile Station
• Includes all line and project management responsibilities within this group.
• Responsible for system test plans, test stations, test tools, bug tracking and disposition, test reports and compliance matrices, certification support and field trial support.
• Must comprehend the system functions and architecture in order to assist systems engineering with architecture, design, analysis, simulations and test/validation strategies.

Skills and Experience:

• 12+ years experience of practical experience with wireless communications systems.
• Basic communications systems background needed.
• System test of wireless base station and/or mobile station transceivers and networks compliant with 802.11 and/or 802.16 and/or IS95/EVDO/EVDV.
• Familiar with SW, communications systems, digital HW, FPGAs, test, and configuration management.
• Must have excellent lab skills and will be prepared to participate in system test case automation, execution and debug.
• Experience with lab equipment including oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, spectrum analyzers, VSAs, digital multi-meters, etc.
• Experience with commercial deployment, field testing, and FCC & regulatory compliance issues a plus.
• Field deployment and/or capacity testing of wireless wide area networks highly desirable.
• Must be organized, self-motivated, a solid team leader, and an efficient technical contributor.
• MSEE required. PhD preferred, but not required.
