Sitronics unit contracted for Bahrain WiMAX with Zain
MANAMA (WiMAX Day). The Russian IT solutions company OAO Sitronics announced that its subsidiary Intracom Middle East is deploying a WiMAX network for Zain (formerly MTS-Vodafone) in Bahrain. The network is reported to cost $10.2 million and will employ equipment from Cisco and Redline Communications. A company press release said the project for Zain will be completed by the end of September 2007.
