TORONTO (WiMAX Day). Following a reverse takeover earlier this month, and a private equity financing of $40 million, Craig Wireless had its debut today on the Toronto Stock Exchange. The company was founded in 1995 in Winnipeg, Canada, and expanded to America and other market. In particular, Craig has been building a WiMAX network in Greece, after it was awarded a license for 3.5 GHz spectrum there. In a press release, Craig Wireless CEO Boyd Craig said that the company’s “private placement financing would allow the company to build its WiMAX networks, chase future acquisitions and buy new spectrum licenses around the world.”
