STOCKHOLM (WiMAX Day). The Swedish telecommunication regulator PTS announced that it intends to auction spectrum in the 2.5 ~ 2.69 GHz frequencies in the first half of 2008. The regulator is now inviting comments from the public and industry on how to conduct the auction. PTS noted that the spectrum licenses will be national and will be awarded on the basis of technology neutrality.
