LONDON (WiMAX Day). Pipex Wireless, the UK joint venture between Pipex Communications plc and Intel, has re-branded as it prepares to roll-out services in the UK. The new service is named FREEDOM4, and will build on the company’s success testing WiMAX in Milton Keynes and Warwick. According to a company press release, FREEDOM4 is preparing to launch services in Manchester and other parts of the UK.
