LONDON (WiMAX Day). The market research firm Infonetics released a report that says the market for mobile WiMAX equipment in Q2 2007 was US$144.5 million. The report notes this is an increase of 130% over Q1 2007. Some key highlights of the report include that this is the first quarter when sales of mobile WiMAX equipment outpaced fixed WiMAX equipment. The leading market for sales of mobile WiMAX equipment was Asia Pacific, accounting for 43% of sales, followed by 31% from North America, 17% from EMEA and 9% from CALA.
