Job responsibilities:

• Responsible for planning/purchasing wafers, packaging, assembly and test to support customer requirements.
• Responsible for “frontline”, tactical, day-to-day supplier interface.
• Responsible for accurate, timely maintenance of NW ERP system.
• Coordinate appropriate documentation for Procurement of outlined commodities, allowing for timely payment of supplier invoices.
• Review/verify accuracy of all associated documentation including NW specifications, as it relates to what is being purchased.
• Responsible for accurate tracking of materials through suppliers’ ERP/portal systems, accurately capturing value of materials at any point in the process.
• Research/resolve invoice and/or payment issues for team members and suppliers.
• Adhere to contracts/agreements already in place for outlined commodities.
• Support ongoing negotiations of those contracts/agreements.
• Communicate with Management on a daily basis for ongoing status and issues requiring escalation.
• Represent Nextwave in a solid, professional manner.
• Support ongoing projects, as required.

Skills and Experience:

• BA/BS or equivalent with emphasis on procurement, logistics, operations, accounting, or similar discipline.
• Five (5) years experience in a high-tech manufacturing environment. Must include purchasing, planning, materials, for wafers, packaging, assembly and test. Exposure to NPI a plus.
• Must have good written and verbal communications skills.
• Must be able to work with all levels of management.
• Must have grasp of advanced mathematical/accounting principles.
• Must be a self0starter and capable of working with minimal supervision.
• Must be courteous with a positive attitude.
• Must be able to prioritize appropriately for the environment and/or a given situation.
• Must be able to respond to urgent, someimes ambiguous requirements.
