RESTON (WiMAX Day). An article yesterday in the Washington Post said that Paul N. Saleh, the interim CEO at Sprint Nextel following the departure of Gary Forsee, confirmed the company’s commitment to building a nationwide WiMAX network. “There are a lot of questions about WiMAX obviously fueled by our competitors who would love to see us distracted,” he said. “But I would say it is a cornerstone to our future.” Saleh reported that the first launch of WiMAX services in Washington, Baltimore and Chicago are still on course for the end of this year.
