SEOUL (WiMAX Day). The innovative Korean company POSDATA announced that it will build a “Mobile WiMAX Town” in Pohang, Korea with Korea Telecom. According to a company press release, POSDATA will supply commercial equipment, such as base stations and ASN-gateways, and will develop specialised mobile WiMAX service models, while KT will deploy and manage the network. The particular area around Pohang was selected because it has a “concentration of industrial, research, and residential complexes.
