SANTA CLARA (WiMAX Day). WiMAX chipset designer Beceem is working with the wireless test-system provider LitePoint Corp to provide real-time testing solutions for Beceem’s WiMAX Wave 2 reference designs. The testing will be run on LitePoint’s IQmax wireless-test-solution platform. The purpose of the test solution is to provide WiMAX device makers that use the Beceem chipsets the opportunity to test their designs so that they “can move from design to high-volume production in weeks rather than months or years,” said Babu Mandava, President of Beceem.” As the WiMAX industry advances quickly, rapid testing measures are required for companies that wish to get their products to market.
