WASHNGTON DC (WiMAX Day). The WiMAX network services provider DigitalBridge Communications announced that it closed a US$20 million round of financing. The company is providing WiMAX services in America to small cities in Idaho, Montana, Indiana and Virginia. In a press release, DigitalBridge said the funding will allow the company to launch its network in another 15 cities, covering 2.5 million people. The second round of investment was led by Paladin Capital Group, a private equity firm that focuses on homeland security, and included RedShift Ventures, CNF Investments and Novak Biddle Venture Partners.
