ATLANTA (WiMAX DAY). One Ring Networks announced it will launch WiMAX services in Atlanta, Georgia with Redline’s RedMAX system. One Ring Networks is deploying RedMAX under guidelines recently set by the FCC to work on 3.65 GHz spectrum. The company plans to extend the network to the entire metropolitan area by the end of the year.

“We are excited to utilise Redline’s products for our initial WiMAX network launch, which is just beginning to break ground in the U.S. marketplace,” states Matt Liotta, CEO of One Ring Networks. “In the U.S., Redline is the first WiMAX vendor to receive FCC approval for its 3.65 GHz WiMAX products, and we are among the first to seize this opportunity to deliver the most reliable, secure, high-speed fixed and nomadic voice, video and data services to businesses in the Atlanta area.”
