2.5 GHz auction in Moldova
CHISINAU (WiMAX DAY). The Ministry of Information Development in Moldova announced that it is preparing to draft regulations for WiMAX licenses. According to a Ministry spokesman, the government will plan to license 2.5 GHz spectrum, which the Ministry believes will add some USD 16 million to its budget. An auction of licenses may come as early as August.
