Airspan expands Tricom network
BOCA RATON (WiMAX Day). Airspan Networks announced that Tricom, a provider of fixed, mobile and data services in the Dominican republic, has extended its contract to supply equipment for a 3.5 GHz WiMAX network. According to an Airspan press release, Tricom will soon roll-out the first phase of the network with services in the Santo Domingo metropolitan area, Bavaro, Haina, and Santiago.
