BOONTON (WiMAX Day). The company Electromagnetic Technologies Industries (ETI) today announced a new series of scaleable WiMAX antennas. The dual polarisation units provide for high data throughput, larger customer capacity, and increased spectral efficiency with minimal number of cell sites. The company noted in a press release that the antennas can scale from 2 to 12 beams, meaning that “one antenna/single cell site 72 beams can be deployed in six sectors.”
