More WiMAX spectrum for Thailand
BANGKOK (WiMAX Day). The National Telecommunications Commission (NTC) in Thailand said that it intends to soon finalise the details of an auction of 3G and 4G spectrum. According to a report in The Nation, such spectrum might be available for auction as early as September. The NTC is considered to auction 2.5 GHz and 3.5 GHz frequencies for use with WiMAX, and 2.1 GHz for use with 3G servivces.
