MEXICO CITY (WiMAX Day). The Mexican telecoms group Telmex filed a preliminary prospectus with local regulators for the listing of shares of Telmex International, which was spun-off from Telmex last year. It is expected that shares of Telmex International will begin trading on stock markets in Mexico and New York by June, the company announced.
Telmex International will operate companies in Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador and Peru. In each country, Telmex International owns WiMAX spectrum and is building WiMAX networks.
