AMSTERDAM (WiMAX Day). Barry West, Sprint Nextel CTO and president of Xohm, said yesterday that Xohm will launch its first commercial WiMAX network in September 2008 in Baltimore, USA. The markets of Washington DC and Chicago will follow later in Q4. West said that at launch time, numerous devices will be available to access the network services, including a ZyXEL modem, a USB dongle from ZTE, another express card from Samsung, and the Nokia N810 tablet.
