BANGKOK (WiMAX Day). Triple T Broadband has announced that it will launch a pilot WiMAX project in September. According to a report in the Bangkok Post, Triple T intends to purchase WiMAX equipment from Cisco to launch a pilot for WiMAX e-learning that will connect 21 universities in Chiang Rai, Thailand. The report said noted that according to Prasitchai Kritsanayungyong, an executive vice-president of TT&T, the parent company of Triple T, the company plans to deploy a WiMAX network throughout Thailand over the next two years.
